A Study on the Arableland Soil Nutrient Distribution of Shanlan Upland Rice Growing Area
Abstract Cultivated land resources not only provide living security for agricultural population, but also serve an important basis for social stability. To elucidate the distribution of soil nutrients in cultivated land and identify the main factors affecting the quality of cultivated land are the important basis and premise for improving soil quality and exploring ways of sustainable utilization. Based on the soil samples of arableland in Hainan Shanlan upland rice growing area, the soil nutrient contents were analyzed to clarify the soil nutrient distribution in the area. The results showed that the average pH of cultivated soil in the area was 5.8, and the cultivated soil was weakly acidic. The overall low content of soil organic matter is mainly attributed to climate factors and agricultural production habits, and the content of soil available nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium nutrients is at or close to the appropriate range. The content of trace elements (available calcium, available magnesium, available copper, available zinc) in the cultivated soil is relatively rich, and the main source of trace elements in the cultivated soil is the weathering of parent material, and the content differences between towns are relatively small.
