Microscopic Simulation of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Resin Composites
Abstract A representative microscopic model of carbon fiber is established by using the micro-scale simulation technology of material analysis in this paper, and its mechanical properties are calculated. The molecular model of TDE-85 epoxy resin and DDS curing agent was established, and the crosslinking reaction of epoxy resin was simulated. The interface model of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin is established by combining the obtained cross-linked epoxy resin model with the carbon fiber model. Through molecular dynamics research, the mechanical properties of the interface model are obtained. The data of mechanical properties can be further transferred to mesoscale, and the parameters of cross-scale simulation calculation can be transferred, which provides a basic guarantee for the research of cross-scale calculation of composite materials.
