Ultra-high nonlinear absorption coefficients based on multiphoton-excited self-trapped excitons in perovskite-inspired copper halides

Ultra-high nonlinear absorption properties were demonstrated in CsCu 2 I 3 and Cs 3 Cu 2 I 5 single crystals due to a three-photon absorption (3PA) while a two-photon absorption (2PA) for the CsCu 2 I 3 and Cs 3 Cu 2 I 5 thin films.
