Near full-length genome sequence of a vesicular stomatitis New Jersey virus isolate collected from a naturally infected cow in the endemic state of Chiapas, Mexico
Here, we report the near full-length genome sequence of a <i>Vesiculovirus newjersey</i> isolate obtained from a naturally infected cow (<i>Bos taurus</i>) in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. This sequence will support future efforts to improve our understanding of the evolutionary dynamics of this pathogen in endemic regions of Mexico.
