Design of Screen Printed Lab on a Chip with Conductive ink
In this research study on a screen-printed lab on a chip using conductive ink with a plastic platform for chemical detection. Conductive ink has many advantages, such as low cost, fast production time, scalability, and reproducibility with screen printing processes, so it's suitable for application with lab on a chip. Electrowetting on Dielectric (EWOD) was used as a microfluidic system and electrochemical sensor for chemical examination in lab on a chip design. Lab on a chip consists of an H-junction EWOD and electrochemical analyte detection in more than two chemical substances using a cyclic voltammogram. There are three types of electrodes: carbon as working, counter electrodes, and silver/silver chloride reference electrodes. Lab on a chip was designed to fabricate by screen sprinted technique with conductive ink, test for the ability to move droplets on the lab on a chip, and test chemical analysis with a digital operator.
