Pedagogical Advancements in Power Electronics Laboratory: STEM-Oriented Instructional Tools
This research aimed to develop an instructional tool for a power electronics laboratory through the STEM education process. The research instruments included a boost converter experiment set, a GUI simulation program (MATLAB-Simulink), and an achievement test. The sample group was 26 students enrolled in the Power Electronics Engineering Laboratory course at the Faculty of Technical Engineering, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, in the second semester of 2024. The research results showed that five experts evaluated the research instrument quality at a very appropriate level, with a mean score of 4.16. It can be seen that this set of learning can be used effectively in teaching and learning. It also helps students to be well-prepared before entering the industrial sector.
