Single VDGA-Based Electronically Controllable Grounded Inductance Simulator

This article describes a new grounded inductance simulator using only single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA) coworking with a grounded capacitor. The use of the grounded capacitor is appropriate for integrated circuit architecture. The outstanding characteristic of the proposed inductance simulator is that its obtained inductance can be adjusted by electronic method using input bias currents of the VDGA for a wide range of operating frequency. Its usability of the circuit is confirmed via PSpice simulation program. A total power consumption is 0.123mW at ±1.2V supply voltages. Additionally, an application in parallel RLC resonant circuit is disclosed. Electronic adjustability is clearly shown.
