Wireless Sensor Network for Rural Area Monitoring and Precision Agriculture

Current advances in sensors, hardware deployments, Wireless Technologies and energy storage, allow the development of small devices gathering data from long distances for long period of time. This speech will show last research about the development of sensors and new wireless sensor node implementations for precision agriculture. We will also show network protocols and algorithms deployed for rural area monitoring and explain developed projects that use artificial intelligence in wireless sensor networks for precision agriculture and rural area monitoring.
