Three-phase inverter without PWM for on-board actuator

The transition to smart grids, driven by advances in computer science, aims to optimize electrical system management through innovative methods. This article focuses on energy consumption optimization in robotic hip exoskeletons, a significant challenge due to constraints such as size, weight, and limited battery autonomy. We propose an innovative solution in the form of a new power supply circuit aimed at substantially reducing actuator switching frequency while selecting the number of batteries based on specific requirements to optimize energy efficiency. Utilizing an AC (Alternating Current) motor for our study due to its high efficiency, we successfully integrated this new power supply circuit, demonstrating significantly reduced switching frequency and minimal losses. Compared to a system utilizing traditional PWM(Pulse Width Modulation), our circuit proved more efficient. This innovative approach holds promise for the development of sustainable, high-performance solutions not only in the realm of medical assistance devices but also in electric vehicles. Application of this new power circuit could play a pivotal role in overall energy management improvement, paving the way for technological advancements beneficial to health and the environment.
