The meanings of praise differ according to those praised, and the validity of the meanings and their safety from excess must be considered. What may occur as a result of exaggeration may reach the point of the impossible. Consider the qualities employed by ancient poets and those that stem from them. The meanings of praise differ according to those praised, and the validity of the meanings and their safety from excess must be considered. What may occur as a result of exaggeration may reach the point of the impossible. Consider the qualities employed by ancient poets and those that stem from them.
