The inertial forward-reflected-backward splitting algorithm for solving variational inequality problems in Hilbert spaces

In this paper, we introduce a new forward-backward-forward splitting algorithm with an inertial extrapolation step for solving variational inequality problems in Hilbert spaces. Under some reasonable conditions, a strong convergence result of the sequence generated by the algorithm is proved. In fact, the results presented in this paper improve and generalize many recent ones in the literature.

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a new forward-backward-forward splitting algorithm with an inertial extrapolation step for solving variational inequality problems in Hilbert spaces. Under some reasonable conditions, a strong convergence result of the sequence generated by the algorithm is proved. In fact, the results presented in this paper improve and generalize many recent ones in the literature.
