Mesenchymal stem cell secretome decreases inflammation in sepsis model
Aims: To determine the impact of MSC secretome on the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB) expression in the liver. Methods: This research is a posttest-only control design group experimental study. This experiment used 40 mice. There were eight mice per group, and the animals were randomized, the sepsis mice group, the control group, the sepsis mice group receiving MSC Secretome 150 µL/20 g, the sepsis mice group receiving MSC Secretome 300 µL/20 g, and the sepsis mice group receiving secretome. MSC 600 mL/20 g. After four days, they were killed, and their liver was removed for examination. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk, ANOVA, and post hoc tests. Results: MSC secretome decreases NF-kB expression in the liver. MSC secretome 600 mL/20 g is the best dose for fighting sepsis models. Conclusion: MSC secretome decreased NF-kB expression in a mouse model of liver sepsis.
