Investigación y divulgación científica: su importancia para el avance de la Física

The connection between research and scientific dissemination plays a crucial role in the advancement of physics and its societal impact. This article offers a theoretical reflection on the indispensable and significant synergy between research and science communication, focusing on physics. Effective dissemination amplifies the reach of scientific discoveries, making complex concepts understandable to the general public. Topics such as the demystification of science, the role of the media, collaborative efforts between researchers and communicators, primary forms of science communication, among others, are addressed in this work. Dissemination not only addresses challenges but also highlights successes, demonstrating how collaboration between researchers and communicators overcomes obstacles and maximizes impact. Therefore, it is concluded that research and scientific dissemination are intrinsically intertwined: while research drives knowledge forward, dissemination extends it beyond academic boundaries, connecting physics with the world and motivating public engagement in the exciting journey of scientific discovery.
