A Study on Impact of Merger on Performance of Selected Private Sector and Public Sector Banks

This study examines the impact of mergers on the performance of four public sector and two private sector banks in India using seven years of pre- and post-merger data. The research evaluates financial metrics such as profitability, operational efficiency, and market share to assess the effectiveness of these mergers in achieving their intended goals.
