IMPLEMENTATION OF BEST GLOBAL BUSINESS ACCELERATION PRACTICES IN THE UKRAINIAN INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM

Topicality. The integration of global business acceleration practices into the Ukrainian innovation ecosystem is important in the context of globalization and the need to enhance the competitiveness of the national economy. The significance of such practices increases in the face of rapid technological changes and the necessity to adapt to the changing business conditions in Ukraine, particularly those related to the war. Aim and tasks. The main objective of the research is to analyze and evaluate the potential for implementing well-known global business acceleration models in Ukraine to stimulate innovative activity. The tasks of the research include studying best practices, analyzing successful cases of foreign accelerators, and determining adaptation strategies for the local context. Materials and Methods. To achieve the objective, a comprehensive analysis of scientific publications and reports was conducted, along with a case study method to investigate specific acceleration programs. Additionally, surveys of participants in innovative projects were used to collect primary data on the impact of acceleration on the development of startups. Research results. The results of the study indicate a significant potential for applying international acceleration models to improve the structure and efficiency of Ukrainian innovation ecosystems. The study of best global practices and their adaptation identified critical success elements, such as proper mentorship, access to investments, and an effective network of contacts. It has been proven that it is necessary to adapt advanced acceleration programs for Ukrainian startups and traditional small businesses. Moreover, the analysis revealed opportunities for attracting investments and boosting the commercialization of innovations while also identifying key barriers to implementation, such as insufficient funding, regulatory constraints, and low levels of cooperation among stakeholders. It has been established that successful implementation depends on the ability to adapt global approaches to the local context, which requires a comprehensive approach to developing innovative talent, state support, and private sector activation. These results form the basis for recommendations aimed at optimizing acceleration initiatives in Ukraine. Conclusion. Effective adaptation and implementation of foreign acceleration practices require the creation of supportive institutional mechanisms, the establishment of interactions between educational institutions and the business sector, and the development of special acceleration programs tailored to the needs of Ukrainian businesses.
