Research of the influence of thermal and aerothermoacoustic treatments on the mechanical properties of BT1-0 and BT23 titanium alloys and residual stresses in parts
The effect of heat treatment and aerothermoacoustic treatment (ATAT) on the mechanical properties of BT1-0 and BT23 titanium alloys, as well as on residual stresses in parts made of these alloys, is studied. It is shown that the strength and ductility of BT23 alloy samples that treated by ATAT both in the initial state and after quenching increase, and residual stresses decrease significantly. It is established that heat treatment reduces residual stresses and stabilizes the dimensions of parts made of BT1-0 alloy, ATAT reduces residual stresses in samples and increases creep of the material.
