Automated control system for a friction telescopic mechanism based on pneumatic muscles
The development of an automated friction telescopic mechanism (AFTM) with a pneumatic control system and a pneumatic muscle used as a clamp for the brake mechanism of a friction telescopic jack, is considered. Calculations and modeling are performed in the FluidSIM program. The developed AFTM is highly reliable and resistant to electromagnetic fields and can be used in high humidity conditions when clearing rubbles after man-made disasters.
