Research on location selection of metropolitan area logistics distribution center based on GIS and AHP

With the progress and development of technology, the related technologies in the Logistics field have also developed rapidly, and the requirements for the Logistics industry have gradually become higher. The delivery process is one of the key links in Logistics operations, and its location selection is particularly important. This brief study focuses on the Logistics distribution center location problem in the “Wu E Huang Huang” metropolitan area. Based on demand data, distribution center location selection analysis is conducted, and it is taken as the research object. GIS and AHP analysis methods are used to analyze the decision-making of Logistics distribution center location, with a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods has been used to propose some insights and corresponding solutions. These approaches aims to enhance operational efficiency, minimize distribution costs.
