The internal flow field analysis of the ultrafine pulverizer based on fluent and the experiment of material classification

A series of experiments were carried out on the ultrafine pulverizer, and the ultrafine and uniform material particles were obtained. On the basis of product experiment, the particle size distribution and the optimal cutter speed of 1232 r/min were obtained. In order to study the influence of the speed ratio of cutter head and grading wheel on the crushing and grading effect, Fluent software was used to analyze the flow field state and particle distribution under different working conditions. The results show that in the range of particle size 40µm ~ 900µm, changing the rotation speed of the classifier has a better effect on the classification. When the speed ratio between the cutter head and the grading wheel is 4.11, the maximum particle size of the outlet mass flow is 60µm, which is consistent with the experimental results. Further adjusting the speed ratio to 2.05, 1.37 and 1.23, it is found that the 50µm, 35µm and 30µm particle size of the outlet material account for the highest proportion, and the number of fine particles increases while the particle size decreases. indicating the existence of the optimal cutter head and the grading wheel rotation speed ratio.
