Most of the countries respond to the unfavorable changes of the security environment by strengthening their defense and resilience capabilities. Several events have occurred in Hungary's security environment in the past period which justify the construction of coordinated, comprehensive, but at the same time flexible defense planning. The main responsible for this is the Defense Administration Office, which was established as a central office in 2022 and belongs to the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister. The deputy director-general, Tibor Lakatos police brigadier general spoke about the office and their most important tasks.
