THE CONCEPT OF A CREATIVEREGION: THEORETICALANDPRACTICALASPECTS OF IMPLEMENTATION

The article discusses various aspects of the concept of a creative region. In the era of the formation of the knowledge economy, human capital is becoming a key factor in regional development, the effective implementation of which involves the active use of all the abilities of its bearer. Successful examples of the implementation of a creative region are united by the presence of a local creative ecosystem in them – a dynamic and interconnected set of subjects with a common goal – to stimulate innovation and creative potential in a given territory. The effective development of a creative region implies the need for certain localized spaces on its territory that provide the necessary conditions for interaction between persons engaged in creative activities within a specific creative industry, as well as business representatives who help translate the results of this activity into innovative products.
