Optimizing Deterministic Computing-Network Integration with TSN and Edge Computing Using MOGWO
This paper investigates the integration of Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and deterministic edge computing to meet the stringent requirements for low latency, high reliability, and deterministic communication in industrial control networks. We propose a novel solution that utilizes the Multi-Objective Grey Wolf Optimizer (MOGWO) algorithm to optimize network and computing resources in task processing. By combining TSN's Time-Aware Shaper (TAS) gate control list configuration with the edge computing cache queue allocation strategy, this study aims to achieve coordinated and integrated deterministic computing-network services. The system optimizes delay, jitter, and packet loss for high-priority tasks, ensuring timely transmission and computation. Results demonstrate that this approach significantly enhances the reliability and efficiency of industrial networks, providing a robust framework for deterministic services in critical applications and underscoring the importance and potential of deterministic computing-network integration.
