Tremor Suppression Using Functional Electrical Stimulation Based Repetitive Control

Tremor is a common disorder associated with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis. In this paper, an approach for suppressing tremor signals was developed by combining linearization action and Repetitive Control with Functional Electrical Stimulation, which is applied to wrist flexors and extensors. The effectiveness was confirmed by experiments performed via MATLAB and LabView. The response results were collected using the MyRIO hardware platform.
