A Long-life Flexible Pressure-Temperature Composite Sensor with High Accuracy and Stability
A long-life flexible temperature-pressure composite sensor based on composite conductive material is introduced in this work. The composite conductive material which combines carbon nanoparticles and silicone rubber in liquid phase method is used as the pressure sensitive unit. The results show that the flexible pressure sensor has accuracies of 99.2% and 99% when measuring pressure and position respectively. The encapsulation layers made of PDMS and PE films isolate the sensing units from air and vapor, and can extend the life of the sensor ten times larger than that without encapsulation layer. The experimental result shows the excellent stability, sensitivity, and reusability after 70 days' test. Nano-silver temperature sensor fabricated in electrostatic printing technology was introduced on the surface of the pressure sensor in order to eliminate the resistance-changing caused by the temperature.
