Dimensional Analysis of Charge Carrier Mobility in Organic Semiconductors
Organic semiconductors have gained attention due to their flexibility. A key property of these materials is charge mobility, which is crucial for determining the speed at which charges, such as electrons and holes, move within solid. Consequently, understanding and accurately modeling charge mobility is essential for optimizing the performance of organic semiconductors. From the reference numerical equations, we have determined the charge carrier mobility through the dimensional analysis method. To obtain the charge mobility values, regression was used from synthetic data. In theory, charge mobility in organic semiconductors is a hopping transport in disordered systems with Gaussian energy distribution. The results showed good agreement with the reference model. It can be concluded that the dimensional analysis method is applicable to observe charge carrier mobility.
