Advancing Tennis Training with an Intelligent Robotic Assistant
The paper starts with the current state of the art in developing tennis-playing robots. We reviewed the advancements in robot mechanics, control algorithms, sensor technologies, and artificial intelligence that enable robots to play tennis. The challenges faced in real-time decision-making, human-robot interaction, and performance optimization are discussed. We propose the development of a robotic tennis assistant, presenting our innovative solution capable of collecting and serving balls with high versatility and efficiency. While we are excited about this technology's potential, we underline the ethical implications of tennis-playing robots, emphasizing the need for responsible development and deployment of such technologies, ensuring that they are used to enhance the sport and not replace human players. Future directions for research and development in this field are also outlined. Market evaluation indicates a growing demand for tennis training aids and robotics, particularly in regions with a high concentration of tennis clubs and players.
