Variable Spatial Resolution Quantum Magnetic Field Scanning Device and Pixel-Level Probe Localization Methods
Magnetic field scanning is important in materials, biology, integrated circuits, and other areas. Measurements of magnetic fields based on diamond containing nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers is used in various magnetic field scanning scenarios and offers highly sensitive magnetic field sensing and nonintrusive properties. However, the spatial resolution of the measurements of the extant NV centers magnetic field scanning scheme is fixed, which can lead to unreasonable measurement results or wasted measurement time in complex magnetic field scanning scenarios. In this article, we present an NV-quantum magnetic field scanning method using a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) camera. The method achieves variable spatial resolution from 0.5 to <inline-formula xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$1750~\mu $ </tex-math></inline-formula>m through a multimagnification microscope optics system combined with a pixel binning technique and achieves pixel-level probe positioning through pixel coordinate transformation combined with visualization of the detector. We demonstrate near-field (NF) magnetic scanning experiments with a coplanar waveguide equipped with a ground (CPWG). The experiment verified the feasibility of the device in positionable characterizing the near-field magnetic trend of the measured object and saving the measurement time. This method is expected to be applied to complex scenarios of magnetic field scanning.
