Synchronous Monitoring and Assessment of Metro Vehicle Interior Vibration and Noise Based on Onboard MEMS Sensing System
With the rapid development of urban rail transit, the deterioration of rail infrastructure, as well as its resulting noise and vibration problem, has become a major concern in operation. This study proposes an onboard vibration and noise measurement and assessment based on MEMS sensors. First, the onboard MEMS sensors are utilized to synchronously collect massive vibration and noise data in multiple carriages. Then, vibration and noise data are used to assess ride comfort and noise level. To better reveal the factors behind the carbody vibration and noise, mileage positioning is conducted based on the carbody longitudinal acceleration. Time-frequency analysis is then performed on the noise data to extract the defect features, whereby the mapping relationship between defect and noise is investigated. Finally, a platform is built to visualize the data analysis results to realize the health management of the subway line.
