Research Report on Lifelike Agents for In-Vehicle HMI Related to Traffic Safety Factors
In autonomous driving and driver assistance systems, lifelike human–machine interaction (HMI) agents perform voice, speech synthesis, image, gesture, facial recognition, natural language processing, and machine learning. In driving assistance, vehicle management, monitoring, networking, and other applications, HMI lifelike agents can help drivers control the vehicle, locate, detect road conditions, avoid dangers, and complete driving tasks through perception, understanding, and reasoning to improve safety and comfort. This study reviews current HMI realistic agent advancements and their effects on traffic safety in response to the following hot concerns. The technology is still developing; therefore, cost, technical issues, user privacy, and dependability must improve. HMI in-car lifelike agents will establish a networked ecosystem to improve vehicle safety, dependability, and convenience as technology progresses and costs fall.
