SDN-Based Management for Master Clocks in Automotive Time-Sensitive Networking
With the increasing communication requirements of autonomous driving, time-sensitive networking (TSN) has become the most promising next-generation automotive Ethernet communication technology. To improve the efficiency of master clock selection and reconstruction, a management algorithm for master clocks based on software-defined networking (SDN) in automotive time-sensitive networking is proposed. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm shows a 50% higher efficiency in selecting the initial master clock and a 66.7% higher efficiency in reconstructing the master clock. Furthermore, it significantly enhances the reliability of clock synchronization in automotive time-sensitive networking.
