Mechanical Response Analysis and Toppling Stability Evaluation of Swivel Bridge under Unbalanced Traction Condition
In this paper, the anti-overturning stability of the swivel bridge with unbalanced traction accident is discussed based on the swivel bridge of Xingfu high-speed highway, which crosses the existing Beijing–Harbin railway. The research results indicate that anti overturning stability coefficient of swivel bridge gradually decreases with the increase of unbalanced traction force, displaying a power function relationship between the two. For this actual swivel bridge, the stress state of the two structures with or without pin shaft is basically the same when the unbalanced traction is within 1,680 kN. The overturning unbalanced traction force of swivel bridge with the pin shaft is 12,700 kN, which is 48.2% higher than that of swivel bridge without the pin shaft. The pin shaft can improve the anti-overturning property of the swivel bridge under unbalanced traction.
