Improvement of Bus Operation Efficiency Based on Generalized Ordered Logit Model
This study comprehensively considers the impact of passenger socio-economic attributes, subjective perception indicators of public transportation services, and objective indicators of public transportation services on passenger satisfaction. It establishes a more objective and comprehensive evaluation mechanism for public transportation passenger satisfaction. Combining the fitting results of the generalized ordered Logit model, the concept of marginal effects is introduced to study whether each indicator has an impact on passenger satisfaction. The improvement of bus passenger satisfaction brought about by the adjustment of quantitative description indicators has been achieved. At the same time, the satisfaction evaluation method is applied to the satisfaction analysis of public transportation in the central urban area of Yichun, identifying the bottleneck factors that constrain the satisfaction of public transportation passengers and pointing out the optimization direction for satisfaction improvement, which has positive significance for the optimization of network organization.
