Force Analysis Method of Tunnel in Intermittently Differential Geological Soft Soil Based on Pasternak Two-Parameter Model

Differential settlement of the soft foundation during the construction and operation of tunnels in areas with soft soil and intermittent geological differences is closely related to time and represents a significant challenge for builders and managers. Due to the varying rheological characteristics of soft soil, deformation characteristics of the tunnel body will inevitably differ, resulting in differential settlement along the longitudinal direction of the tunnel. Further research into these characteristics is necessary. This paper adopts the assumption of Pasternak’s two-parameter foundation beam and combines the results of numerical simulation analysis with Navier’s method and displacement method to obtain the analytical and approximate solutions of simply supported at both ends, fixed at both ends, and cantilevered beams on elastic foundations.
