Analysis and Recommendations on China’s Major Subsidy Policies in the Transportation Industry
In the development of the transportation industry, whether it is highway, railway, or civil aviation, they are all capital-intensive industries where government-funding intervention is essential. These funds also greatly affect the determination of some enterprises to participate in the construction and operation, and subsidies are the most direct form to support. In order to grasp the mainstream subsidy policies and measures of the government in China’s transportation industry, this paper conducts a detailed investigation and analysis of subsidy policies and differences in various industries across different regions, analyzes the existing individual and common problems, and puts forward the corresponding subsidy policy recommendations, so as to provide the basis, reference, and direction for the government’s future formulation and adjustment of transportation industry subsidies.
