Research on the Impact of Low-Carbon Awareness on the Travel Behavior of Fuel Vehicle and Electric Vehicle Travelers
The high carbon emissions of motor vehicles can significantly reduce carbon emissions through the adjustment of travel modes for small car travelers under the influence of low-carbon awareness. This article introduces low-carbon knowledge, low-carbon values, and low-carbon habits into the theory of planned behavior, establishes a structural equation model of low-carbon travel intention, and explores the low-carbon travel intention and choice of low-carbon travel modes of Beijing’s gasoline and electric vehicle travelers. Analysis finds that low-carbon values and knowledge are significant, while low-carbon values and low-carbon habits can enhance the low-carbon travel intention of electric vehicle travelers. Based on the results of low-carbon travel mode selection, this article also proposes policy recommendations for different travel groups.
