Analysis of Sensitive Wavelength of Track Irregularity for Straddle Monorail Vehicle

The straddle monorail system uses concrete track beams, and track irregularity has an important impact on the safe and stable operation of the vehicles. In order to control track irregularity more targeted, the dynamics simulation software UM was used to establish a dynamic simulation model of straddle monorail vehicle. The influences of the wavelength and amplitude of vertical and lateral irregularity on vehicle dynamic performance were analyzed. The results show that at the maximum operating speed of 80 km/h, the sensitive wavelengths that affect the vertical dynamic performance of the vehicle are 6–12 m and 0.3–4 m, and the sensitive wavelengths that affect the lateral dynamic performance of the vehicle are 0.3–5 m. The influence of the amplitude of the irregularity on the dynamic performance of the vehicle is a linear positive relationship, and the amplitude of the irregularity at the sensitive wavelength has a very significant influence on the dynamic performance.
