Highway Service Area Microgrid Optimization Scheduling Based on Simplex Algorithm Considering Energy Storage: A Case Study in Hangzhou
This paper aims to propose an optimization scheduling model for microgrid in highway service areas using energy storage devices. In this proposed model, the electricity load demand of the service area is firstly predicted using the KNN algorithm to improve grid stability. Then, the optimization scheduling model is established by taking the service area microgrid economic cost as the objective function and combining constraints such as system power balance and the state of the energy storage devices (capacity and charge state). The Simplex algorithm is used to derive the optimal scheduling strategy of the service area microgrid. Using actual electricity data from a highway service area in Xiaoshan District in Hangzhou City, it is verified that energy storage scheduling plays an important role in reducing the cost of the microgrid by comparing the two cases of including and not including energy storage equipment.
