Boosting the Driving Force for Urban Green Freight Transportation and Distribution: A Case Study of Wuhan
Urban green freight and distribution have emerged in response to the new demands of green and sustainable urban development. To effectively foster the green development of urban freight and distribution, it is essential to evaluate various measures and identify suitable programs. This paper delves into the driving forces and influencing factors of green freight and distribution in Wuhan, explores the driving mechanism of this green development, and suggests a path forward to promote the greening of freight and distribution in Wuhan. The study reveals that green guidance and the enactment of reasonable policies significantly enhance the driving force of green development in freight and distribution. The government should work towards enhancing public awareness of environmental protection and introduce relevant policies to regulate the use of green distribution vehicles in Wuhan.
