Research on User-Side Virtual Power Plant Based on Charging Microgrids
With the rapid development of electric vehicles (EVs), catering for large-scale EV access to the grid for charging is a challenge for power grids. This paper proposes an EV-based charging microgrid so as to construct a microgrid virtual power plant. The charging network is an organic system, including power conversion distribution equipment, power conversion modules, intelligent dispatch control system, big data, and cloud platform. Through the charging network, distributed photovoltaic, gradient energy storage, electric vehicle orderly charging, bidirectional charging, and discharging technologies, it can release peak-cutting and valley-filling of the power grid, ensure that new energy vehicles are charged with new energy power, and help realize the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. Charging big data is the core of the virtual power plant, this paper carries out the design of a cloud-based collaborative operating system for the charging network.
