The Life-Cycle Digitalization Assessment of Road Infrastructure Data in Asset Management
As an asset-intensive industry, road infrastructure management has the challenges of long life-cycle from construction to disposal, separated and repeated storage, lack of technical standards of metadata for the interoperability, etc. To evaluate life-cycle infrastructure data delivery, we select the main scenarios across construction, maintenance, operation, etc., and propose the dataflow model to depict interchange process from start scenario to the end. Then, assessment indicators are proposed with value, utilization, compliance, consistency, stabilization, and validity, and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method is designed to estimate the weight factor of evaluation function. Based on the practical maintenance system, the study case is implemented with the dataflow model and assessment results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
