Study on Development Strategies for Rail-Water Combined Transport in China

This paper systematically analyzed the development status of China’s rail-water combined transportation and the existing problems, focusing on the development of Chinese container water iron transport and relatively slow development, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to further promote healthy development of the combined transportation based on the domestic environment relevant to the development of the combined transportation and in terms of institutional mechanisms, policy environment, infrastructure, standard specification, transportation market, etc.
