Research and Development on the Mass Public-Oriented Traffic Safety Diagnosis and Service Program
This paper is dedicated to research and develop a traffic safety program customized to serve the mass public—the daily road users. The study of this paper focuses on two aspects: identify the essential contents of a traffic safety situation, and then deliver them to the public. First, this paper was focused on research of real-time traffic safety diagnosis, developing a method specified to define core indices in terms of traffic safety information demands of the public. Then, to identify a reasonable framework, and to develop a prototype program which provides traffic safety information service to the public. A data visualization-dominated approach based on business intelligence was employed, as an effort to create a straightforward but profound and interactive data analytics and efficient delivery to the public. The outcomes of this paper established the foundation for future production, popularization, and application towards the general public.
