A Comprehensive Evaluation Framework for Warehouse Performance: Indicator System and Cloud Model-Based Method
Effective performance management of warehouses is crucial for ensuring its standardized daily operations and improving its operational efficiency. However, establishing a comprehensive and fair warehouse performance evaluation model remains a significant challenge for enterprises. In this study, we propose a comprehensive evaluation indicator system that covers the aspects of operation, service, finance, and safety of warehouses. Using this system, an evaluation method based on the cloud model is developed for warehouse performance. To overcome the limitations of subjective and objective evaluation on the weights of the indicators, we adopt a combination weighting method to determine the weights for the indicators. The results demonstrate that the proposed model can effectively quantify and evaluate warehouse performance and provide detailed indicator-based guidance for improving warehouse management. This study contributes to the development of a more robust and comprehensive approach to warehouse performance management, which is of great significance for enterprises to improve their operational efficiency and competitiveness.
