STRONGYLOIDOSIS OF CALVES IN THE AMUR REGION
Strongyloidiasis is a parasitic disease caused by parasitism of the nematodes Strongyloides spp. family Strongyloididae, suborder Rhabdidata. Cattle are infected by the species Strongyloides papillosus and Strongyloides vituli. Young animals suffer the most; calves may develop eczema, enteritis and bronchopneumonia, and in some cases death has been reported. Subsequently, there is a decrease in cattle productivity. As a result of the research, infection of calves from 1 to 12 months was established, with the extent of invasion from 12.5 to 66.7% different intensity of invasion. The largest number of infected calves was observed at the age of 1-5 months.
