PRODUCTIVITY OF HYBRIDS OF DOMESTIC CROSSES OF EGG CHICKENS FOR 76 WEEKS OF LIFE

The productivity of two domestic crosses of chickens over 76 weeks of life was studied. 327.3 eggs were obtained from chickens of the final hybrid with white eggshells, and 7.8 more eggs were obtained from hybrid chickens with brown eggshells. The age of sexual maturity of brown cross chickens was 139.0 days ahead of the white cross bird by 2.8 days. Brown cross hens had an egg weight superiority compared to white cross hens at 30 weeks by 0.5 g and at 52 weeks by 1.7 g.
