HELMINTHOFAUNA OF THE EASTERN BLACK CROW IN THE AMUR REGION
Synanthropic birds live in all populated areas and come into contact with farm and domestic animals. In populated areas they live in green areas of cities; in winter, their favorite places are garbage dumps and livestock farms. Corvids are infected by various types of helminths and are carriers of infection for poultry and animals. Infection of black eastern crows with the following helminths has been established - Capillaria sp., Syngamus trachea, Heterakis gallinae, Liperososmum longicauda, Echinostoma revolutum. Helminths that cause capillariasis (Capillaria sp.), syngamosis (Syngamus trachea) and echinostomatiasis (Echinostoma revolutum) are of greatest epizootic importance for poultry.
