QUANTITATIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE CHOLESTEROL PROFILE OF ROMANOV SHEEP

The paper presents data on the hematological status of full-aged non-vegetable purebred Romanov sheep raised in the Kuzbass region. The level of leukocytes and platelets fluctuated within the normal range of 6.65 ± 0.61 x109/l and 361.8 ± 15.62 x109/l, respectively. The level of erythrocytes was lower than generally accepted values and amounted to 3.95 ± 0.06 x1012/l, which, in the absence of clinical manifestations of disease, can be considered a normal variant for the studied ewes.
