Prospective research of mixed saliva composition in implantology patients during menopause
The effectiveness of dental implantation largely depends on the qualitative and quantitative composition of the oral fluid, as well as the state of the bone structures of the upper and lower jaws. Endocrine rearrangement during menopause in women leads to an imbalance of mineral metabolism, which can serve as an important factor in the formation of postmenopausal osteoporosis and, as a consequence, the inefficiency of dental implants.
