Numerical experimental realization of erbium-doped fiber laser in the 1500-1550nm band
With the effective application of lasers in many aspects, fiber lasers attract increasing attention due to their excellent output results and material advantages. Among them, fiber lasers in specific wavelength bands have important application value in national defense, industrial processing, medical, and other related fields. However, there are currently few relative studies on the parameter design and relationship analysis of erbium-doped fiber lasers in specific wavelength bands. There is also a lack of model analysis on lasers. The issue of improving output power enters a bottleneck period. Based on the realistic physical model, this research report creates a simulation model of fiber laser. The fiber laser completes the simulation experiment of erbium-doped fiber laser in the 1500-1550nm band. It uses model simulation to calculate the output power and analyze the relationship between power and fiber length. The erbium-doped fiber laser in this research is designed for higher output performance. The results of this research create a generalized laser design model. The model can meet the design needs of solid fiber lasers in specific wavebands using various materials in various fields. The model can reduce the cost of experimental research. The results can also provide a high-performance design idea for the erbium-doped fiber laser within the 1500-1550nm band.
