O IMPACTO DAS INTERVENÇÕES ABA NO DESEMPENHO ESCOLAR DE CRIANÇAS AUTISTAS
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects children's academic and social performance. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has proven to be an effective intervention for improving academic, social, and communication skills in children with ASD. This study aims to review the importance of ABA interventions in the academic performance of children with autism through an integrative literature review. The research was conducted in the BVS, SciELO, MEDLINE, and Taylor & Francis Online databases, using the keywords "Autism Spectrum Disorder," "Academic Performance," and "Behavioral Intervention." A total of 158 articles were found, 12 of which were selected after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results indicate that ABA interventions, when applied in a structured and continuous manner, have a positive impact on academic performance, promoting school inclusion and the development of skills necessary for curriculum adaptation. ABA interventions, conducted within the school environment, are crucial for fostering inclusion and improving the academic performance of children with ASD
